The name Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy is derived from the Dwarven language, as Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy was founded by Tsîrê Zÿhbafral, who was culturaly Dwarvern.

Overview

Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy was founded durring the early 13th century in winter of the year 1228, by Tsîrê Zÿhbafral. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Tsîrê Zÿhbafral.

Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy is buildings are located arround a single crampt cobblestone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The town's peasent-grade have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy lost 157 people, 361 livestock, and 72 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 190, when members of Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy's militia enacted an operation to break a siege of a particular research site. The operation was complicated by aggravated civilians, who cause problems for the militia for a host of reasons. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in defeat for Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Ådehlÿ Cärct Choy's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
